This is the first bicolored offering from the Dwarf Tomato Project. Indeterminate, potato leaf dwarf plants produce medium to large, oblate fruits with colored yellow with red swirls. Outstanding sweet, complex, well-balanced flavors.
History: The name is pronounced "fer-dow-co-fi", which is a native New Zealand Maori word that means 'red/yellow'. The variety was named by New Zealand project member Richard Watson. Developed 2009-2013 by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from a cross between Dwarf Russian Swirl (out of the Dopey family) and Lucky Cross (Dizzy family). Introduced in 2015. This variety is associated with the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI).
