Linnie's Oxheart is one of the best oxheart heirloom tomatoes we grow. Introduced by "Big Red" Boynton Jr. of Bethelridge, Kentucky, who got his seeds from an elderly neighbor, Linnie Sears, who had been growing this variety for years. First introduced in the 2008 SSE Yearbook by Susan Anderson of Bastrop, Texas. Our Certified organic TomatoFest seeds produce indeterminate with big sprawling vines that yield good crops of 10-20 oz., red, heart-shaped tomatoes that are deliciously full of well-balanced tomatoey flavors. Linnie's Oxheart has been an American favorite for many years. A customer sent us a photo of herself with her 3.5 pound tomato. A great slicing tomato for sandwich and salads and sauce. One of Gary's Favorites.
