Russian origin. The name means "Northern" in Russian. Tatiana Kouchnareva received the seeds from her mother, who obtained them from her friend in the South Urals region of Russia. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 8-12 oz., pink, heart-shaped tomatoes with delicious, very full, complex flavors. A good variety choice for short season areas.
